Born, bred and farmed all my life in Lathom, I grew up in Old Sutch Farm and now live at Bleak Hall Farm with my wife Anne. I have been married for 52 years and we have 2 children and 5 grandchildren all living nearby in Lathom.
I joined the parish council in early 2017 and being a farmer recognise the problems within the countryside whilst appreciating the lovely rural area of Lathom, full of historic interest, fascinating lanes for walkers, joggers, cyclists and horse riders of all ages.
Over the years, I have been involved with the local community tree planting and daffodil planting schemes and Bleak Lane is just one of the pleasing results. I am also a long-standing member of the Douglas Valley Lions Club helping people in the local areas as well as with international projects.
As a member of the parish council I hope to make Lathom a safe and happy place to live, with everyone working together for the good of our diverse community.
